BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – Grant Russo (Sugarloaf, Pa./Hazleton Area) added another award to his resume as the redshirt-sophomore was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings Division II All-Atlantic Region First Team as announced by the organization on Wednesday.
 
The 2026 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) East Player of the Year, Russo led the Huskies in batting average (.419), hits (65), runs (56) and stolen bases (36). The sugarloaf native broke the Huskies' 29-year-old single-season stolen bases record.
 
It is the fourth first-team honor for the outfielder this season after he previously received recognition from the PSAC, the National College Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) and the Division II Conference Commissioners Association (D2CCA). He is the first Husky to earn first team honors from all four since Jared Marshman in 2022.
