LAST TIME OUT ...
Bloomsburg made all 17 of its foul shots in the second half - 21-of-22 for the game - as it completed a season sweep of Cheyney University with a 73-63 victory at Alfred Cope Hall on Saturday afternoon. Redshirt junior Christian Mortellite (Hammonton, N.J./Hammonton) poured in a game-high 23 points - his 17th 20-point effort of the season - while senior Malik Sneed (Washington, D.C./Spingarn (Prince George's CC)) was perfect shooting the ball on the day (5-of-5 from the field, 6-of-6 from the line) en route to a career-high 16 points. Senior Yahmir Greenlee (Philadelphia, Pa./Boys Latin) was also in double figures for the tenth consecutive game as he chipped in 14 points, including 9-of-9 from the free-throw line.

STARTING FIVE ...
1 - Redshirt junior Christian Mortellite (Hammonton, N.J./Hammonton) continues his rapid ascent up Bloomsburg's all-time scoring list. The sharpshooter currently sits in 13th place on the school's all-time list with 1,312 career points. He jumped ahead of Lorenzo Christmas (2010-14) in the win at Cheyney on Saturday and now trails Richard Lloyd (1958-62) by 27 points to move into a tie for 12th place. He has scored at least 20 points in 17 of the 19 games this season and has 37 career 20-point efforts in 71 collegiate games. He has hit double figures in 55 of his last 57 games and has been held to under 10 points in a game only nine times in his career.

2 - Bloomsburg has found its stride offensively and has moved to sixth in the PSAC in scoring offense at 81.2 points per game. The Huskies scored just 73 points on Saturday at Cheyney - the fewest since scong 70 at Clarion on December 10. Bloomsburg has averaged 86.3 points over its last 11 contests after averaging only 74.1 points per game through the first eight games of the year.

3 - Senior Yahmir Greenlee (Philadelphia, Pa./Boys Latin) has sparked the Huskies' offense as he has started the last ten games. Greenlee finished with then-career-highs in points (15), assists (9), and steals (4) while tying a career-best in rebounds (4) in the victory at West Chester on December 30. He broke his career-high with 19 points at Shippensburg, broke it again with 21 points against Mansfield, and then broke it one final time with 25 points at Kutztown on January 18.  All told, Greenlee has hit double figures in all ten games and is averaging 16.9 points and 3.8 assists. He had posted a previous high of 14 points in a win at Mansfield on February 6, 2016 and hit double digits in scoring only twice last season.

4 - The Huskies are among the national leaders in several categories as a team while Christian Mortellite (Hammonton, N.J./Hammonton)'s shooting touch has him among the country's leaders in a handful of individual categories. As a team, Bloomsburg ranks tenth in the country in both free throw percentage (78.4%) and blocks per game (5.1) while ranking 21st in the nation in three-point percentage (41.3%). Mortellite, meanwhile, leads the country in three-pointers per game (4.11). He is just ahead of Lincoln Memorial's Luquon Choice (4.05) and Angelo State's Quay King (4.00). Mortellite is also sixth in the nation in total threes (78), 11th in points per game (23.2), 26th in free-throw percentage (89.0%), and 29th in three-point percentage (45.9%).

5 - Bloomsburg had three players post a double-double in the win at Wilmington - Christian Mortellite (Hammonton, N.J./Hammonton) (28 pts, 11 reb), Kyle-Michael Rose (Middletown, Del./Sanford School (Highland CC)) (17 pts, 12 reb), and Carnell McGirt (Philadelphia, Pa./Roman Catholic (Valley Forge Military Academy)) (12 pts, 11 reb). It marked the first time multiple Huskies' players had a double-double since February 10, 2016 against Kutztown - Mortellite (25 pts, 13 reb) and Malik Garner (Philadelphia, Pa./Chestnut Hill Academy) (20 pts, 10 reb). The Huskies had not had three players post a double-double in the same game since prior to the 1990-1991 season.

THE SERIES ...
West Chester leads the all-time series, 66-65.

LAST MEETING AGAINST WEST CHESTER ...
Christian Mortellite (Hammonton, N.J./Hammonton) scored 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds while Yahmir Greenlee (Philadelphia, Pa./Boys Latin) returned to the Bloomsburg lineup to post 15 points, nine assists, and four steals as the Huskies defeated the Golden Rams, 88-73, on December 30 at the Hollinger Fieldhouse. It marked Bloomsburg's first PSAC win of the season. The Huskies jumped out to a 43-30 lead at halftime and never looked back en route to the 15-point victory. Carnell McGirt (Philadelphia, Pa./Roman Catholic (Valley Forge Military Academy)) added 18 points in 20 minutes off the bench while Kyle-Michael Rose (Middletown, Del./Sanford School (Highland CC)) chipped in with 10 points and seven rebounds in just 16 minutes as a reserve. Tyrell Long, who was also making his first appearance of the season, led the Golden Rams with 25 points and 11 rebounds.

SCOUTING THE GOLDEN RAMS ...
West Chester comes in with a 9-11 overall record and a 7-8 mark in the PSAC Eastern Division - tied with Bloomsburg for fourth in the division. It has been an up-and-down season for the Golden Rams as their longest streak - winning or losing - has been a three-game winning streak from November 19 to November 26. In their last contest, the Golden Rams hammered Mansfield, 94-66, on Saturday afternoon. Prior to that, however, West Chester was hammered at Kutztown, 110-85, on January 25. West Chester enters the game fourth in the PSAC in scoring offense (82.0 ppg) but is 17th in the league in scoring defense (83.8 ppg). Only Cheyney (87.6) is worse in points allowed. Malik Jackson leads the Golden Rams in scoring, averaging 20.5 points per game, which has him tied for fourth in the conference. He is also second on the team in assists (2.9) and steals (1.7). Jackson is the main threat from downtown as he has connected on 53 triples this season. Tyrell Long, who has started each of the last ten games after missing the first nine, is second on the team in scoring (18.3) and tops in rebounding (9.5). He has also blocked a team-high 11 shots. Jackson Hyland (11.3 ppg, 6.4 rpg), Zach Bare (10.9 ppg), and Matt Penecale (10.5 ppg, 5.2 apg) also average double digits in scoring. Penecale is tied for fifth in the PSAC in assists per game.

MORTELLITE CLAIMS PSAC EAST HONORS AGAIN ...
Redshirt junior Christian Mortellite (Hammonton, N.J./Hammonton) was named the PSAC East Co-Athlete of the Week on January 30 after leading the Huskies to a 2-0 record last week. Mortellite averaged 28.0 points, including a season-high 33 points at Lock Haven last Wednesday. He also averaged 5.5 rebounds and 3.0 assists while shooting 58.8% from the field in the two games. He earned Athlete of the Week honors on January 17 and Co-Athlete of the Week accolades on November 28.

McGIRT HEATING UP ...
Junior Carnell McGirt (Philadelphia, Pa./Roman Catholic (Valley Forge Military Academy)) has provided the Huskies with an offensive spark since getting off to a bit of a slow start. In his first eight games, McGirt averaged 8.8 points and 6.5 rebounds but, in his last 11 games (seven in a reserve role), McGirt is averaging 15.3 points and 7.5 rebounds. He has hit double figures in ten of his last eleven games including a career-high 26 points in the loss at Shippensburg on January 6.

LATEST MEMBER OF THE 1,000-POINT CLUB ...
On Saturday, December 3, redshirt junior Christian Mortellite (Hammonton, N.J./Hammonton) became the latest member of Bloomsburg University's 1,000-point club when he hit a pair of second-half free throws during the Huskies' 74-68 loss at Mercyhurst. All told, 29 players have hit the milestone in Bloomsburg's history with Mike Ellzy leading the way with 1,911 career points (1993-97). Mortellite now has 1,312 points in his Huskies' career - 13th on the school's all-time list. He needs 27 points to tie Richard Lloyd  (1958-62) for 12th place. Mortellite is just 51 points away from cracking the top ten.

CLIMBING ANOTHER LIST ...
Mortellite is also climbing the school's all-time list for career three-pointers. He owns sole possession of fifth on the school's all-time list after he surpassed Aaron Carter and Mike Cheatle with four triples in the win over Lincoln on November 15. Mortellite now has 195 for his career. Next in his sights is Jay DeShields who knocked down 205 triples from 1998-2002. His 78 three-pointers is the third-highest single-season total in school history. DeShields holds the record with 82 during the 2001-02 season. Meanwhile, junior Alex Prislupsky (Olyphant, Pa./Mid-Valley) has hit 84 career triples and is 15 away from cracking the top ten.

NOT FOUL AT THE LINE ...
Bloomsburg has been impressive from the charity stripe this season as it ranks second in the PSAC, and 10th in the country, in free-throw percentage (78.4%). The Huskies were 21-of-22 at Cheyney on Saturday, including a perfect 17-of-17 in the second half. Redshirt junior Christian Mortellite (Hammonton, N.J./Hammonton) (89.0%) and senior Donell Diggs (Washington, D.C./Takoma Academy (Prince George's CC)) (87.9%) are second and third in the league, respectively, in accuracy. Junior Carnell McGirt (Philadelphia, Pa./Roman Catholic (Valley Forge Military Academy)) (80.5%) is 12th. The Huskies have also made a living at the line as they have made more trips to the stripe than their opponent in 14 of the 19 games (tied in two) and have scored more points from the line in 16 of the 19 contests (tied in one). Bloomsburg is +90 from the free-throw line this season.

DOWNTOWN WITH THE HUSKIES ...
The Huskies have made at least one three-pointer in 173 consecutive games. The last time Bloomsburg did not make a three in a game was on December 4, 2010 in a 54-51 loss at Lock Haven when it went 0-7 from beyond the arc. Bloomsburg has made at least ten three-pointers in a game six times this season after achieving that feat just one time last season - an 85-59 home victory against Millersville on February 17, 2016 (10-of-17). Mortellite is third in the PSAC in three-point percentage (45.9%), leads the PSAC and the country in three-pointers per game (4.11), and is tops in the PSAC (sixth in the country) in total three-pointers (78).

UP NEXT ...
Bloomsburg will return to the Nelson Field House on Saturday, February 4, to host eighth-ranked Shippensburg. Start time is scheduled for 3:00 p.m. The Raiders, who lost for the first time at Millersville on Saturday afternoon, are 18-1 overall but were given a stiff test by the Huskies back on January 6 before holding on to defeat Bloomsburg, 79-75. The Huskies still lead the all-time series, 104-68.
