STORYLINE
The Bloomsburg University baseball team steps out of conference play to battle Clarion in a doubleheader on Tuesday. The Huskies are in third in the PSAC East with a 16-12-1 overall record and a 6-5-1 divisional mark. The Golden Eagles are tied for seventh in the PSAC West with a 7-16 overall record and a 3-9 mark in league play.
ALL-TIME SERIES
Bloomsburg leads the all-time series against Clarion, 8-3. The teams last played on April 9, 2014, in Clarion with each team winning once in the doubleheader. The Golden Eagles won the opener, 3-2, but the Huskies bounced back for a 15-6 victory in game two.
SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies come into the day ranked ninth in the PSAC with a .299 team batting average. Junior

Austin Edgette (Exton, Pa./Downingtown East) is the reigning PSAC East Athlete of the Week after going 11-of-16 (.688) with four doubles, one home run, and ten runs batted in during a 3-1 week for the Huskies. Jeremy Zezza (Exeter, Pa./Wyoming Area) have been integral parts. Alaimo has pitched in eight games and has a team-high four saves with a 3.71 ERA. He has struck out 19 batters in 17 innings. Zezza is 1-0 with a 3.86 ERA in nine games. He has one save and is limiting opponents to a .183 batting average.
SCOUTING CLARION
The Golden Eagles are 14th in the PSAC with a .262 batting average. Clarion has only hit a league-low two home runs on the season with Mitch Holmberg and John Finke each going deep once. Finke also leads the team with 18 runs batted in. Tyler Falk is batting a lofty .455 (30-of-66) with a team-high eight doubles. He has also walked 15 times for a .553 on-base percentage. Holmberg is batting .347 (25-of-72) while Joey Lopez enters with a .342 average (27-of-79) with ten runs batted in. On the mound, Clarion is 14th with a 6.47 team ERA. Jeremy Frazier is the leader among starters as he is 1-2 with a 3.54 ERA. He has struck out 30 batters in 28 innings. Jay Moog has pitched in a team-high 10 games and is 1-2 with a 3.18 ERA.
