BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - Redshirt junior
Kyle Dix (Schwenksville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) made a triumphant return to the pool as he posted three victories on Friday night but it wasn't enough as the Bloomsburg University men's swimming team dropped a 115-90 decision to visiting West Chester University at the Nelson Field House Pool. Junior
Jordan Wyant (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity) and redshirt sophomore
Matt Rocchi (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) also posted individual victories while freshman
Logan Baker (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts), junior
Colin Bauer (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts), and sophomore
Collin Hummel (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg) joined Dix in a meet-ending win in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
After missing all of last season with an injury, Dix posted wins in both the 50-yard freestyle (21.00) and the 100-yard freestyle (46.33) on Friday night. He then swam a 21.28 opening leg in the 200-yard freestyle relay which gave the Huskies nearly a one-second lead after 50 yards. The foursome posted a time of 1:25.97 with Baker (22.25), Bauer (21.24), and Hummel (21.20) able to stretch the lead over West Chester's quartet for an 89-second victory.
Wyant won the 200-yard freestyle by posting a time of 1:45.20 while Rocchi was able to hold off West Chester's Jarod Anderson by nearly four-tenths of a second to win the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 59.60.
All told, the Huskies posted 20 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying marks on Friday night. Seven different Huskies - Dix, Wyant, Rocchi, Baker, senior

Jace Fry (Palmyra, Pa./Lower Dauphin) each qualified in two different events. Hummel, Bauer, freshman
