EDINBORO, Pa. - Redshirt junior
Kyle Dix (Schwenksville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) continued his torrid start to the 2018-19 season with three total victories as the Bloomsburg University men's swimming team posted a 126-74 victory at Edinboro University on Friday night to improve to 2-1 on the young season. All told, eight different Huskies had at least one individual, or one relay, victory on the night while the team posted 18 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying marks.
Dix, the reigning PSAC Men's Swimmer of the Week, won the 200-yard freestyle (1:45.73), the 100-yard butterfly (51.65), and swam the first leg in the Huskies' 200-yard freestyle relay team that won the final event of the night (1:27.19). Junior

Colton Schnars (Bellefonte, Pa./Bellefonte), junior
Corey Smith (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn), and redshirt sophomore
Matt Rocchi (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan) each posted single individual wins on the night while junior
Colin Bauer (Pottstown, Pa./Owen J. Roberts), sophomore
Collin Hummel (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg), and junior
Jordan Wyant (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity) joined Dix for the win in the 200-yard freestyle relay.
After the Huskies earned a second-place finish in the 200-yard medley relay to start the evening, Boehme got Bloomsburg into the win column by posting a time of 10:25.63 to earn a victory in the 1000-yard freestyle. Dix followed with his win in the 200-yard freestyle while Schnars qualified for the conference meet in the event with a time of 1:49.09. Bloomsburg then finished 2-3-4 in the 50-yard freestyle with sophomore

Pat Agnew (Pottstown, Pa./Pottsgrove), and redshirt sophomore
Lucas Haywood (Camp Hill, Pa./Camp Hill) each qualifying for the conference championships in the event.
Dix got the Huskies another victory when he touched the wall first in the 100-yard butterfly. Senior
Philip Nawn (Media, Pa./Penncrest) and Hummel also posted PSAC marks in the event. Wyant (48.22) and Haywood (49.27) finished second and third, respectively, in the 100-yard freestyle with both getting under the conference standard. Schnars then won his first collegiate event with a time of 52.25 in the 100-yard backstroke. Smith followed with a 4:56.71 showing in the 500-yard freestyle and Rocchi closed out the individual events with a win in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:01.04) - edging Nawn by one-tenth of a second.
The Huskies' 200-yard freestyle relay team of Dix, Bauer, Hummel, and Wyant swam 1:27.19 in the final event of the night to win by nearly six seconds over Bloomsburg's "B" team of freshman
