STORYLINE
Bloomsburg, off to the best start through 22 games in program history, heads to Kutztown University on Wednesday afternoon to make-up its conference doubleheader that was postponed earlier in the season. The Huskies are 16-6 overall, surpassing the 1998 squad that had a 15-6-1 overall record through the first 22 games that season. Bloomsburg has won 11 of its last 14 games and is ranked sixth in the latest National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Atlantic Regional poll. The Golden Bears, meanwhile, are 10-10 overall and have earned four-game splits against Millersville and Lock Haven in each of the last two weekends.

Then, on Sunday, March 25, Bloomsburg swept a doubleheader to open league play at Danny Litwhiler Field, taking game one, 6-1, before winning the nightcap, 9-1.
