STORYLINE
Bloomsburg enters the four-game series ranked fourth according to the latest National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Atlantic Regional poll while the Bald Eagles are seventh. The Huskies have won six straight, 10 of their last 11, and 16 of their last 19 games to build a two-game lead on second-place West Chester in the PSAC Eastern Division. Lock Haven, after a fast start, has won just three times in its last nine contests.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Bloomsburg leads the all-time series against Lock Haven, 106-71. However, the Bald Eagles took three out of four games against the Huskies last season.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
Offensively, the Huskies are second in the PSAC with a .328 team batting average, trailing only Lock Haven's .338 mark. Bloomsburg currently leads the conference with a .436 team on-base percentage and is second in the league in slugging percentage (.503). Austin Edgette (Exton, Pa./Downingtown East), who has claimed each of the last two PSAC East Player of the Week honors, leads the team with a .478 average (43-of-90) which puts him second in the league. Edgette, who has hit safely in 25 of his 26 games this season, also leads the team in runs scored (36), home runs (5), on-base percentage (.580), slugging percentage (.778), and stolen bases (12). His .580 on-base percentage is tops in the conference while his .778 slugging percentage is second in the league. Shane Woelfel (Mahwah, N.J./Mahwah) is second on the team, fourth in the PSAC, with a .437 average (38-of-87). He is second on the team in on-base percentage (.509) and slugging percentage (.644) and is tied for third in home runs with four. Cole Swiger (Maple Glen, Pa./Upper Dublin) has posted a .396 average (44-of-111) which has him third on the team and tenth in the league. He leads the team in hits (44) and doubles (13) while ranking second in runs (34) and stolen bases (7). He is third in both on-base percentage (.507) and slugging percentage (.640) and is tied for third in home runs with four. Chad Cooperman (Allentown, Pa./Salisbury) and Ben Newbert (Bala Cynwyd, Pa./Harriton) also have averages above .300 on the season. Cooperman is hitting .364 (24-of-66) with 15 RBI while Newbert is batting .354 (28-of-79) with three home runs and a team-high-tying 31 runs driven in. Kyle OFier (Pittston, Pa./Pittston Area) is tied with Edgette for the team lead in home runs with five while Ryan Shiffer (Toms River, N.J./Toms River South) is tied with Newbert with 31 RBI on the year.

On the mound, the Huskies are third in the PSAC with a 4.38 team earned run average, trailing only Seton Hill (3.64) and Mercyhurst (3.86). Bloomsburg is also second in the league in opponents' batting average at .235. Nick Stoner (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown) leads the team with a 1.98 ERA while sporting a 4-0 record on the season. In seven appearances (six starts), Stoner has allowed only 20 hits in 36.1 innings while striking out 34. His .155 batting average against is fifth in the conference. Ashton Raines (Wallingford, Pa./Strath Haven) is 6-0 on the season with a 2.38 ERA. He has limited the opposition to a .190 average and has struck out a team-high 39 batters in a team-high 45.1 innings. Cooperman has a 2.53 ERA in six starts and has struck out 33 batters in 32 innings. He threw his first collegiate complete-game shutout last Saturday against Mansfield. Meanwhile, JJ Spehrley (Pottsville, Pa./Pottsville Area) has emerged as the other weekend starter and is 5-0 with a 3.81 ERA in nine appearances (three starts). He has 23 strikeouts in 26 innings. Out of the bullpen, Trey Hinkle (Macungie, Pa./Emmaus) has been the savior as of late. He had a win and two saves in four appearances against East Stroudsburg and is now 2-0 with four saves and a 3.77 ERA in ten appearances this season. He has struck out 15 batters in 14.1 innings. Mike Warren (Garnerville, N.Y./St. Joseph Regional) and Ed Herbener (Freeland, Pa./MMI Preparatory School) have also pitched well in relief. Warren is 1-2 with a 5.09 ERA while Herbener is 3-0 with an identical 5.09 ERA.

SCOUTING LOCK HAVEN
The Bald Eagles currently lead the PSAC in hitting as they enter with a .338 team batting average. Cayden Stover leads Lock Haven with a .408 average (40-of-98) which puts him sixth in the league. He also leads the team in runs (33), doubles (10), triples (3), and stolen bases (14). He is second in the league in stolen bases. Liam McArthur is hitting .387 (36-of-93) and also ranks second on the team with 31 runs scored. Nick Stotler is having a fine all-around season as he sports a .385 average (40-of-104) with six home runs and 24 runs batted in. He is tied for the team lead in hits (40) and ranks second in home runs (6) and stolen bases (7). Keyshawn D'Orso is the main power threat for the Bald Eagles as he leads in home runs (7), runs batted in (33), on-base percentage (.505), and slugging percentage (.716). He is hitting .378 (28-of-74) on the year.

On the mound, the Bald Eagles are 11th in the league with a 6.32 team earned run average. Opponents are hitting .309 against the Lock Haven pitching staff - the fourth-highest average against in the conference. Scott Leitholf has developed into the ace as he has a 5-1 record with a 3.50 ERA in seven starts. He has struck out 39 batters in 43.2 innings while limiting the opposition to a .226 average. Avery Eddy is also having a fine year with a 3-2 record and a 2.97 ERA in four starts. He has 26 strikeouts in 30.1 innings. Jesse Slinger leads the team with 46 strikeouts in 41 innings but has allowed a team-high 60 hits (.341 opponent batting average). Breton LaRose is one of the best closers in the league - in eight appearances, he is 1-0 with a 1.80 ERA and five saves. He is limiting opponents to a .162 average on the year.
