STORYLINE
Bloomsburg heads to Mercyhurst on Friday afternoon as the Huskies continue their string of conference matches. The Huskies are looking to bounce back from their first home defeat of the season when they dropped a 2-0 decision to Gannon. The Lakers, meanwhile, are looking to continue their winning ways after beating Daemen College on Tuesday. The Huskies are ranked eighth in the latest United Soccer Coaches Atlantic Regional poll while Mercyhurst is 3-3 overall to start its season. Bloomsburg will then head home on Sunday afternoon to battle the fifth-ranked Golden Rams of West Chester. The Golden Rams, who host Pitt-Johnstown on Friday afternoon before heading to Bloomsburg, are off to a 4-0-1 start and have allowed only one goal through the first five matches. West Chester is the top ranked team in the Atlantic Region according to the latest United Soccer Coaches poll.

ALL-TIME SERIES
Bloomsburg is 10-7-2 lifetime against Mercyhurst in the all-time series. Last season, the Huskies defeated the Lakers in dramatic fashion, 2-1, at Steph Pettit Stadium with a last-second, game-winning goal.Â
Erin Bielski (York, Pa./Century (Md.)) scored with just over one second remaining in regulation to propel the Huskies to the victory.
Sam Rodkey (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove) recorded the other Bloomsburg goal in the win.
Allie Barber (Pittston Township, Pa./Pittston Area) and
Natalie Holmes (Laurel, Md./Archbishop Spalding) had assists while
Jenna Hawkins (Fleetwood, Pa./Fleetwood) recorded four saves in the win. Emilie Bock scored the lone goal for the Lakers. The Huskies are 13-21-3 lifetime against West Chester in the all-time series. The last contest between the two schools came during the quarterfinals of last season's PSAC tournament when the Golden Rams won, 1-0, off of a goal by Linzi Wolfe in the 75th minute. Hawkins recorded four saves in the effort.

SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
The Huskies, ranked eighth in the latest United Soccer Coaches Atlantic Regional poll, suffered their first home loss of the season to Gannon last Saturday, dropping their record to 4-2 with an identical 4-2 record in the PSAC. Their loss to Gannon comes after consecutive shutout victories over California (Pa.) and Lock Haven. Bloomsburg is in a four-way tie for first place in the bunched-up league standings with the top dozen teams separated by a mere three points. Senior
Taylor Sneidman (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cumberland Valley) leads the Huskies in scoring with two goals and one assist for five points while sophomore
Alex Burrows (Lebanon, Pa./Cedar Crest) has chipped in with a pair of goals for four points. Both of Sneidman's goals have been game-winners which puts her in a tie for third place in the league in that category. Sophomore

Alexis Rostucher (Bloomsburg, Pa./Bloomsburg) each have one helper. Redshirt sophomore
Jenna Hawkins (Fleetwood, Pa./Fleetwood) has played every minute in goal and is 4-2 with a 0.67 goals against average and a .733 save percentage. She is tied for first in the league in shutouts with four and is sixth in goals against average.

SCOUTING MERCYHURST
The Lakers are 3-3 overall with a 1-3 record in conference play. Mercyhurst is coming off of a 3-0 victory over Daemen on Tuesday with Emilee Bock, Maia Russo, and Laia Santos scoring for the Lakers in the victory. Vilde Wold posted the shutout recording two saves on the afternoon. Maya Bauer leads the team in scoring with one goal and three assists for five points. She is tied for fourth in the PSAC in assists. Amata Valentini and Veera Viitikko are tied for second with two goals each for four points. Vilde Wold has started all six games and is 3-3 with a 2.00 goals against average and a .692 save percentage. She has recorded two shutouts on the season which puts her in a tie for sixth in the league.
SCOUTING WEST CHESTER (plays against Pitt-Johnstown on Friday)
The Golden Rams, last year's PSAC runners-up, are ranked fifth in the country and tops in the Atlantic Region entering the weekend. West Chester is 4-0-1 overall and 3-0-1 in league play and will take on Pitt-Johnstown, at home, on Friday before heading to Bloomsburg for Sunday's showdown. After tying their opening match against East Stroudsburg, 1-1, the Golden Rams have won their last four games and have outscored their opponents, 9-0, during the stretch. Madison Baxter and Kendall Rich are tied for the team lead in points with six each. Baxter has scored two goals and two assists while Rich has notched three markers on the campaign. Both of Baxter's goals have been game-winners which puts her in a tie for third place in the league in that department. Nikki Caffey has tallied two goals for four points on the season. McKenna Mullin has started all five games in goal and has posted a 4-0-1 record with a 0.20 goals against average and a .944 save percentage. Brooke Myers has seen 18 minutes in net and stopped three shots without allowing a goal. Mullin leads the PSAC in goals against average and save percentage while tying for third in the league in shutouts with three.
