LAST TIME OUT
• Bloomsburg exploded for 64 points in the second half en route to a 109-87 win over Wilmington (De.) at home Wednesday night. Six Huskies finished in double figures, including a team-high 19 points from freshman Travis Elmore (Tobyhanna, Pa./Pocono Mountain West). Redshirt junior Sam Saxton (York, Pa./Central York) added 18 points and a career-high eight assists while junior Ky Mauras (Reading, Pa./Reading) chipped in 17 points and six helpers. Freshman Sekou Fofana (Upper Darby, Pa./Springfield Commonwealth) added 14 points and six assists in just 16 minutes. As a team, Bloomsburg shot a season-best 41-of-66 (62.1%) from the field, hit a season-high 15 three-pointers, and posted a season-best 29 assists in the victory. The Huskies dominated the battle on the glass as well, out-rebounding Wilmington 47-18.
TALENTED FRESHMEN
• Bloomsburg features a pair of talented freshmen this season in Elmore and Fofana. Elmore is second on the team in scoring (15.7 ppg), and is 5th om the PSAC in field goal percentage (56.8%). SCOUTING BLOOMSBURG
• Mauras has been the catalyst of the Bloomsburg offense this season, leading the team in points (18.2), assists (3.7) and steals (2.1) per game. Saxton is third on the team in scoring (9.5 ppg) and second in assists (2.5 apg), while Austin Harriott (Philadelphia, Pa./Hun School) averages 8.2 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game. Harriott also leads the team in blocks with 12. The Huskies are 11th in the PSAC in scoring offense (74.3), but are last in the conference in scoring defense (85.8).
