THE MATCHUP
• The Bloomsburg University men's basketball team looks to snap a three-game losing skid when it hosts Seton Hill University at the Nelson Field House on Wednesday evening in the final Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) crossover contest of the season. The Huskies have dropped three straight and eight of their last ten. The Griffins, meanwhile, snapped their three-game losing streak on Monday with a two-point win at California. Seton Hill, however, has dropped six of its last eight games.

THE SERIES
• Bloomsburg leads the all-time series against Seton Hill, 3-1. Last season, the Huskies posted a 78-70 victory over the Griffins in Greensburg after racing out to an 11-point halftime advantage. Ky Mauras (Reading, Pa./Reading) led five Bloomsburg players in double figures with 22 points while Trevor Blondin paced Seton Hill with 20.

SCOUTING THE HUSKIES
• Freshman Travis Elmore (Tobyhanna, Pa./Pocono Mountain West) paced five Huskies in double figures with 15 points but Bloomsburg suffered its third consecutive loss with a 111-82 setback to visiting East Stroudsburg on Monday afternoon. Junior Ky Mauras (Reading, Pa./Reading) finished with 14 points and four assists while freshman Sekou Fofana (Upper Darby, Pa./Springfield Commonwealth) continued his hot streak with 13 points and five boards. Sophomores Nicholas King (Easton, Pa./Freedom) and Ethan Houston (Carlisle, Pa./Carlisle) also hit double digits with 12 and 11 points, respectively.

• Bloomsburg features a pair of talented freshmen this season in Elmore and Fofana. Elmore is second on the team in scoring (14.8 ppg) and is fifth in the PSAC in field goal percentage (55.1%). He leads the team - tied for tenth in the PSAC - in rebounding (7.6). Elmore reached double figures scoring in his first 13 games this season and in 14 of his first 15 collegiate contests. Fofana, meanwhile, has been seeing more playing time as of late but still averages only 16.0 minutes off the bench. Fofana posts 7.8 points and 4.1 rebounds per game and has reached double figures in scoring in six of his last nine games. Those figures translate to 19.6 points and 10.2 rebounds per 40 minutes.

• Redshirt junior Sam Saxton (York, Pa./Central York) along with sophomores King and Houston have also proved capable of provide some offensive spark for the Huskies. Saxton is averaging career-highs in both points (9.1 ppg) and rebounding (4.4 rpg) and is second on the team in assists with 34. King is coming off of his third double-digit effort of the year and is chipping in 5.7 points per contest. Houston is at 5.1 points and 3.9 rebounds but has had four double-digit efforts this season including his first career double-double at California (17 pts, 12 reb) on December 18.

• The Huskies are 11th in the PSAC in scoring offense (73.8) but are last in scoring defense (86.7). After Monday's loss to East Stroudsburg, Bloomsburg has allowed more than 100 points in a game three times and at least 90 points on six different occasions. Shooting and turnovers have been an issue for Bloomsburg this season as it ranks 16th in turnover margin (-4.3), 14th in field goal percentage (42.3%), and last in the PSAC in both three-point percentage (28.1%) and free throw percentage (61.8%). Bloomsburg's rebounding is 11th in the league as both the Huskies and their opponents average 40.4 boards per game.

• Bloomsburg has made at least one three-pointer in 223 consecutive games. The last time Bloomsburg did not make a three in a game was on December 4, 2010 in a 54-51 loss at Lock Haven when it went 0-7 from beyond the arc. The Huskies are, however, 15th in the PSAC this season in three-pointers made per game (5.7) and are last in the league in three-point percentage (28.1%). Bloomsburg has hit 10 three-pointers in a game only twice this season and has hit as few as three in a game five times including Monday's loss to East Stroudsburg.

SCOUTING SETON HILL
• Seton Hill snapped a three-game losing skid with a 72-70 victory at California on Monday afternoon to improve to 4-12 overall and 2-8 in the PSAC West. Blondin scored a game-high 23 points including the go-ahead free throws with 12 seconds left in regulation. Nathan Davis added 21 points and nine rebounds while Malik McKinney chipped in 16 points for the Griffins in the victory.

• Blondin leads the Griffins in scoring at 19.4 points per game which places him fourth overall in the PSAC. He has reached double figures in 12 of his 14 games and has surpassed the 20-point plateau on eight occasions. Davis is second on the team at 18.0 points per game (10th in the PSAC) and leads the team in rebounding at 6.9 boards per contest.
