BLOOMSBURG, PA - The Bloomsburg University wrestling team has announced that former standout Mike Dessino (Middlesex, NJ/Middlesex) will join the staff as volunteer assistant. Dessino wrestled for Bloomsburg from 2009-14, and volunteered with the team during the 2016-17 season.

A three-time NCAA Division I national qualifier with the Huskies, Dessino posted a career record of 105-43 at Bloomsburg, and ranks second in program history in career pins with 45. Dessino was a three-time Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Champion, and the 2011 Eastern Wrestling League (EWL) Champion at 174 lbs. 

Dessino, originally from Middlesex, New Jersey, currently resides in Bloomsburg.
