UNIVERSITY PARK, PA- Junior
Andy Thomas (Harleysville, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) posted the fastest time in the 50-yard Freestyle as Bloomsburg University men's swimming team dropped a 175-55 decision at Division I Penn State University (McCoy Natatorium), Saturday afternoon.

The Huskies posted 21 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) marks on Saturday, afternoon. Thomas, Junior
Luke Scoboria (Birdsboro, Pa./Exeter), and Senior
Jace Fry (Palmyra, Pa./Lower Dauphin) led the way with three conference marks while senior Daniel Mueser and junior
Nick Fiddler (Plymouth Meeting, PA/Plymouth Whitemarsh) each posted two.

Blake Nesbitt (Wind Gap, Pa./Nazareth), freshman Anthony Goulstone all qualified for the PSAC conference meet once.

Thomas shattered the field in the 50-yard freestyle as he touched the wall at 20.64 to earn the victory. Thomas earned his first PSAC conference cut of the meet and was just shy of earning the NCAA B cut. Penn State Lachlan Byrne touched the wall nearly a second later with a time of 21.50.

After a weekend of competition, Edinboro University and Penn State University, the Huskies posted a 1-2 record overall.

Bloomsburg men's swimming gets right back on the road next weekend as they travel to Clarion University for the first time since the Tippin Gymnasium & Natatorium renovations, Saturday evening for a 6:00 pm meet.
