UNIVERSITY PARK, PA- The Bloomsburg Women's swim team dropped a 176-56 decision after competing against Division I Penn State University Saturday afternoon at the McCoy Natatorium.

With a handful of Penn State swimmers in exhibition, junior
Anna Sugra (Millersville, Pa./Penn Manor) received two second place finishes in the 100 and 200-yard Breaststroke. Sugra earned a season best time in the 100 Breaststroke touching the wall at 1:10.34 and finished with her second PSAC conference cut of the night in the 200 Breaststroke finishing with a time of 2:35.13. The Huskies posted five other second-place finishes coming from junior
Grace Beierschmitt (Dover, Pa./Dover) (50-yard Freestyle), freshman
Maggie Shaffer (East Petersburg, PA/Hempfield) (100-yard Freestyle), graduate student
Lindsay Mooney (Salisbury, Md./Parkside) (100-yard Butterfly), sophomore
Madison Osanitsch (Shippensburg, Pa./Shippensburg) (200-yard Backstroke), sophomore Sophia Besterman (500-yard Freestyle).

The Huskies posted 20 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) marks on Saturday, afternoon. Beierschmitt and Osanitsch led the way with three conference marks while Shaffer, freshman
Gabi Walsh (Elizabethtown, PA/Elizabethtown), sophomore
Alicia Lehman (Pittsburgh, Pa./Keystone Oaks) and Sugra each posted two.

Jada Stambaugh (West Lawn, Pa./Wilson) and junior

After a weekend of competition, Edinboro University and Penn State University, the Huskies posted a 1-2 record overall.

The Huskies will travel to Clarion University this Saturday for the first time since the Tippin Gymnasium & Natatorium renovations, for a 6:00 pm evening meet.
