SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Just a day after hosting its own meet, the Bloomsburg University men's track and field team had a solid outing at the Paul Kaiser Classic hosted by Shippensburg University as the Huskies moved up in several Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) standings heading into the final week of the regular season.

Junior
Tyler Bailey (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg) had an impressive day on the track as he took second overall in the 800-meter run with a time of 1:54.96 and moved up to fourth in the PSAC standings. Bailey, along with freshmen
Andrew Basile (Easton, Pa./Easton Area),
Parker Jarratt (West Grove, Pa./Avon Grove), and
Robert Wilson (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon) took third overall in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:28.73.

Senior
Chris McCormick (Ashland, Pa./North Schuylkill) turned in a career-best time of 4:03.54 in the 1,500-meter run as he took third overall and senior
Hunter Jarratt (West Grove, Pa./Avon Grove) took fifth overall in the same race with a time of 4:05.63.

Junior
Kevin Konyar (Winchester, Va./James Wood) led a back of four Huskies in the top-eight in the 10,000-meter run as he took second overall with a PR of 33:02.46, which is now 10th-best in the PSAC. Freshman
Michael Gavio (Marlton, N.J./Cherokee) took third overall with a time of 33:27.24, 12
th best in the PSAC, in his first time running of the race. Freshman
Ryan Duff (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh) also moved into PSAC rankings in his first race of the 10,000-meter run with a time of 34:45.30, and finished sixth overall. Freshman
Justin Ziegler (Harleysville, Pa./Souderton Area) finished eighth overall with a time of 35:36.70.

Hank Anderson (Oakland, N.J./Indian Hills) took second in the 110-meter hurdles as he finished with a time of 15.31 (3.9 wind).

In the field, senior
Matt Loeh (Loyalsock Township, Pa./Loyalsock Township) moved into the PSAC rankings in the discus as he took third overall with a distance of 46.23 meters (151' 8"). Senior
Matthew Hart (Yardley, Pa./Pennsbury) moved to sixth in the PSAC with a fourth-place throw of 52.33 meters (171' 8") in the hammer throw.

The Huskies are scheduled to close out the regular season next Saturday, May 1, at the Lock Haven Qualifier. Events are scheduled to begin at 10:00 am.
