LOCK HAVEN, Pa. - The Bloomsburg University men's track and field team wrapped up the 2021 regular season on Saturday as it competed at the Lock Haven Qualifier in the Huskies final tune-up before the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships next week. Bloomsburg posted six victories and recorded six new personal-bests during the meet.

Juniors Tyler Bailey (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg) and Hank Anderson (Oakland, N.J./Indian Hills), as well as freshmen Robert Wilson (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon) and Andrew Basile (Easton, Pa./Easton Area), all had a pair of victories on the track to pace the Huskies in the running events. Bailey posted a personal-best time of 1:53.00 in the 800-meter run to cruise to a victory in the event as he bested senior teammate Chris McCormick (Ashland, Pa./North Schuylkill), who finished second, by more than four seconds. Bailey then teamed up with freshman Andrew Basile (Easton, Pa./Easton Area), freshman Parker Jarratt (West Grove, Pa./Avon Grove), and Wilson for a victory in the 4x400-meter relay as the group teamed up for a time of 3:27.96. Wilson and Basile added their second victory of the day in the 4x100-meter relay as they joined Anderson and senior Jason Jablonowski (Simpson, Pa./Carbondale Area) for a winning time of 45.05. The time is the sixth-best mark in the conference this season. Anderson, meanwhile, added his second victory of the day in the 110-meter hurdles as he crossed the finish line with a winning time of 15.53.

McCormick's time of 1:57.08 in the 800-meter run was a personal-best and moved him into ninth in the conference this season while Jarratt also added a PR in the 800 as he finished third overall with a time of 1:58.93.

Wilson had the other Huskies' personal-best time on the track on Saturday as he ran a 51.45 in the 400-meter dash which moves him into 15th in the PSAC this season.

Jablonowski, along with his win in the 4x100, also was victorious in the long jump as he posted a best mark of 5.88 meters to win the event.

Joining Jablonowski with a big afternoon in the field events was senior Matt Loeh (Loyalsock Township, Pa./Loyalsock Township), who won the hammer throw and finished second in the discus on Saturday. Loeh recorded a personal-best mark of 51.21 meters in the hammer to claim the title. It was his first-ever throw over 50 meters in his collegiate career and moved him into eighth in the conference this season. His second-place toss in the discus traveled 43.37 meters.

Junior Anthony Moser (Natalie, Pa./Mt. Carmel) had a season-best mark of 52.03 meters in the javelin to finish second overall. He moved into 12th in the conference this season.
