SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg University men's track and field team finished ninth at the 2021 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Outdoor Track and Field Championships. The Huskies compiled 28 team points behind several podium spots in the final day of competition, Saturday.

Junior
Tyler Bailey (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg) highlighted Saturday's performances for the Huskies as he earned all-conference honors in the 800-meter run. After the first lap, Bailey was in third but he overcame the second-place runner to take second at 1:54.48, just 1.03 off of first place.

The foursome of
Anthony Moser (Natalie, Pa./Mt. Carmel),
Robert Wilson (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon),
Andrew Basile (Easton, Pa./Easton Area), and
Hank Anderson (Oakland, N.J./Indian Hills) opened the day on the track for the Huskies with a sixth-place finish in the finals of the 4x100-meter with a time of 44.60.

Senior
Chris McCormick (Ashland, Pa./North Schuylkill) was next on the track for the Huskies and earned the second podium spot in as many races. McCormick took seventh in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:05.46. Junior
Hank Anderson (Oakland, N.J./Indian Hills) followed with a sixth-place finish in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.18 to earn his first individual podium appearance.

Freshman
Noah Meckes (White Haven, Pa./Crestwood) hit a personal best in the javelin in his final event of the weekend as he turned in a distance of 50.61 meters to take eighth overall and earn a podium spot.

The Huskies season concludes with the championship events. The Huskies finished ninth overall with 28 points.
