Men's Basketball to Open 2024-25 Campaign at Joe Retton Classic

BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's basketball team will begin a 28-game schedule next week as they kick off the 2024-25 campaign at the Joe Retton Classic hosted by Fairmont State.
 
Bloomsburg's schedule features a total of 13 home games, 14 away games and one neutral-site game.
 
The Huskies begin the season in Fairmont, West Virginia on Friday, November 8 against Fairmont State. Bloomsburg's second game at the Joe Retton Classic will see them take on West Virginia Wesleyan on November 9.
 
Nelson Field House will see the Huskies home-opener on Wednesday, November 13 as they welcome Seton Hill for a non-conference matchup at 6 p.m.
 
The maroon and gold then play back-to-back contests in New Jersey, facing off against Georgian Court on Saturday, November 16 and Caldwell on Tuesday, November 19.
 
Bloomsburg begins Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) play on Friday, November 22 as they head to Gannon for a 5 p.m. game before taking on Clarion on Saturday, November 23.
 
The Huskies then begin a three-game homestand that sees matchups against Felician (Nov. 26), Slippery Rock (Dec. 7) and Jefferson (Dec. 15). Bloomsburg will head to California (Pa.) on Tuesday, December 17 before concluding its East-West crossover slate at home against Edinboro on Saturday, December 21.
 
The new year sees the maroon and gold begin 2025 and eastern conference play inside Nelson Field House for a 7:30 p.m. clash with Mansfield. The Huskies head on the road t face Shippensburg on Monday, January 6th before returning home on January 8th to face Millersville.
 
Bloomsburg goes on the road for back-to-back games against Kutztown on January 15 and East Stroudsburg on January 18. Shepherd comes to Bloomsburg on Wednesday January 22 before the maroon and gold head to West Chester on January 25.
 
A two-game homestand for the Huskies sees them host Lock Haven on Wednesday, January 29 and Shippensburg on Saturday, February 1. Bloomsburg heads back on the head for two contests against Mansfield (Feb. 5) and Shepherd (Feb. 8) before returning home to face East Stroudsburg (Feb. 12) and Kutztown (Feb. 15).
 
The maroon and gold will head Millersville on February 19 before hosting West Chester for Senior Day on February 22. The regular season concludes with a Wednesday, February 26th matchup against Lock Haven.
