BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's swimming team won eight of the 11 events and collected 14 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) championship meet times, Friday afternoon. The Huskies defeated Edinboro 142-56 and picked up a 139-64 win over Kutztown.

The Huskies opened the meet with a 1-2 finish in the 400-yard medley relay.
Gabi Walsh (Elizabethtown, Pa./Elizabethtown),
Sadie Ludwick (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cedar Cliff),
Rylee Wenzel (West Lawn, Pa./Wilson),
Morgan Holmes (Monroeville, Pa./Gateway) won the race with a time of 4:03.14 while
Grace McBlain (Aldan, Pa./Monsignor Bonner),
Vanesa Valli (Beaver Falls, Pa./Blackhawk),
Ashley Martin (Middletown, N.Y./Pine Bush), and
Samantha Linsey (Camp Hill, Pa./Cedar Cliff) took second with a time of 4:04.97.

Madison Osanitsch (Shippensburg, Pa./Shippensburg) took second in 1,000-yard freestyle with a time of 11:12.04 and
Ella Dittmar (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) finished third with a time of 11:33.34.

A pack of Huskies set their season bests in the 200-yard free as
Sidney Beers (DeBois, Pa./DuBois Area) won with a PSAC-cut time of 2:01.59 and
Sarah Pickel (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon) took fourth at 2:03.99. Martin finished fifth at 2:07.12 and
Jordyn Kinnee (Frederick, Md./Oakdale) took seventh at 2:08.95.

Wenzel won the second-straight race for the Huskies with a PSAC time of 24.62 while
Rachel Cunningham (Hanover, Pa./South Western) came in third with a PSAC time and season-best time of 24.89.

Valli won the 200-yard IM with a PSAC-cut and season-best time of 2:15.83. McBlain also posted a season-best time and earned a PSAC cut time as she took second with a time of 2:17.39. Linsey came in fourth with her PSAC time and season-best time of 2:17.76.

The Huskies won their fourth-straight race as
Catie Strayer (York, Pa./Central York) captured first with a season-best and PSAC-qualifying time of 2:19.46 in the 200-yard butterfly.
McKenna Mizikar (Latrobe, Pa./Mount Pleasant Area) posted a season-best time of 2:25.09 to take fourth.

Cunningham won the 100-yard freestyle with her season-best time of 54.59 to earn a spot at the PSAC championships. Beers took third with her PSAC and season-best time of 55.29 while Linsey took sixth with a PSAC-qualifying and season-best time of 55.96.

Walsh won her individual race as she took first with a PSAC-qualifying and season-best time of 2:11.14. McBlain finished third with her PSAC-qualifying and season-best time of 2:13.13 and Osanitsch posted a season-best and PSAC qualifying time of 2:15.45.

Holmes and Martin posted season-best times in the 500-yard freestyle. Holmes took second at 5:34.93 and Martin came in fourth at 5:38.42.

Sadie Ludwick (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Cedar Cliff) came in second with a PSAC-qualifying season-best time of 2:34.01 in the 200-yard breaststroke. Ruben post a season-best time of 2:38.30 to take sixth and Kinnee came in seventh with a time of 2:38.93.
Avery Wenzel (Reading, Pa./Wilson) took eighth with a career-best time of 2:40.49.

Rylee Wenzel (West Lawn, Pa./Wilson), and Holmes closed out the meet with a season-best time of 1:39.47 to win the 200-yard freestyle relay.
The Huskies have little time out of the pool as they host Susquehanna tomorrow at the Nelson Field House pool at 3:00 p.m.
