BLOOMSBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg wrestling team dropped a non-conference matchup to Wisconsin, 37-9, on Sunday morning. Graduate David Tuttle (Steubenville, Ohio/Steubenville) and sophomore Mason Rebuck (Sunbury, Pa./Shikellamy) each picked up victories for the Huskies.
 
Tuttle got the Huskies on the board in the 184-pound bout with an 11-7 decision victory. The match saw Wisconsin's Matthew Jens score an early takedown to take a 3-0 lead. Tuttle fought for an escape before quickly scoring a takedown of his own. Jens got the escape to level the match at 4-4 after the opening period. Jens chose bottom to start the second period and managed a quick escape to take a 5-4 lead. Tuttle retook the lead with a takedown and two-count near fall to move the score to 9-5. The third period saw Tuttle pick up an escape to push the score to 10-6. Tuttle earned a point for a misconduct before Jens was awarded a stalling point to bring the final score to 11-7.
 
After a scoreless first period at 197 pounds between Wisconsin's Niccolo Colucci and Mason Rebuck (Sunbury, Pa./Shikellamy), Colucci chose the bottom to start the second period. Rebuck battled with Colucci and didn't let him earn an escape point before locking in a cradle and securing the pin 46 seconds into the second period.
