Women's Cross Country | 11/10/2025 8:19:00 PM

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – Bloomsburg women's cross country freshman, Olivia Magagna (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter Strasburg), earned an at-large bid to the 2025 NCAA DII Women's Cross Country National Championships as announced by the organization on Monday afternoon.

Magagna has been stellar in her debut season for the Huskies. The freshman finished in the top ten in five of her six races this season. Magagna's lone finish outside the top ten came at the Paul Short Run in which the Lancaster native placed 32nd in field of 342 runners.

A highlight of Magagna's season came in her debut, winning the Doug Watts Open hosted by Edinboro with a time of 18:06.2.

It is the third-straight year in which Bloomsburg has sent a runner to the NCAA Championship meet, with Kelley Selheimer (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) competing in the national meet in 2023 and 2024. Magagna is the first freshman to race at the national championships since Hannah Boudreau in 2014.

The NCAA DII Women's Cross Country Championships will be held at Wayne E. Dannehl National Cross Country Course at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside in Kenosha, Wisconsin on Saturday, November 22.
