LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Bloomsburg women's cross country team picked up a pair of All-Atlantic Region honorees while recording a tenth-place finish at the NCAA Atlantic Region Championships in Lock Haven on Saturday morning.

Olivia Magagna (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter Strasburg) crossed the line in eighth with a 21:42.00, marking the third-consecutive year in which a Husky placed in the top ten at the NCAA Atlantic Regional meet.
Cori McCormick (Ashland, Pa./North Schuylkill) placed 22nd at the regional meet with a season-best 22:06.1, a 27.6 second improvement on her time from the LHU XC Open and Invitational earlier in the year.

The pair earn All-Region Honors for the first time in their careers. It is the second time in the last three season in which the maroon and gold have had two runners earned to all-region distinction.

Alyssa Cunningham (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) finished 67th in her second appearance in the NCAA Atlantic Regional, running a 23:04.4.
Sydney Werner (Reading, Pa./Conrad Weiser) ran a 23:17.6 to place 76th overall.
Amanda Kelly (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) rounded out the scorers for the Huskies, posting a season-best 23:26.8 to finish 82nd.

Haley Conner (/) placed 98th with a 23:51.7 while
Melina Turner (Wharton, N.J./Morris Hills) finished 111th with a 24:13.2.

The Huskies finished the day with a team score of 253.

With the top three finishers claiming the automatic bids to the NCAA Championship meet, Magagna will have to wait until Monday, Nov. 10 to see if she earns an at-large bid to the national meet in Wisconsin. Â
