SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The Bloomsburg men's track & field team had a busy but successful weekend between two meets at Susquehanna and Bucknell Universities. The Huskies came away with four event wins and four PSAC Championships qualifying marks.
 
During the Susquehanna Outdoor River Hawk Multi, Daniel Ajuz (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) came away with a pair of event wins and PSAC qualifying marks in the long jump and the triple jump. Ajuz won the long jump with a distance of 6.88 meters (22' 7") and won the triple with a jump of 13.71 meters (44' 11.75"). Trevor Johnson (Kintnersville, Pa./Palisades, Pa.) took third in the long jump (6.33 meters/20' 9.25") and second in the triple jump (13.35 meters/43' 9.75").
 
In the triple long jump, Lucas Antal (/) finished fourth with a distance of 6.28 meters (20' 7.25") and Jalik Hill (Lebanon, Pa./Lebanon) finished fifth (6.17 meters/20' 3"). Josh Leininger (Pine Grove, Pa./Pine Grove Area) took eighth in the long jump at 5.78 meters (18' 11.75") and seventh in the triple at 11.66 meters (38' 3.25").
 
Landon Kester () took fifth in the triple with a jump of 12.47 meters (40' 11").
 
Brian O'Connor (/) won the javelin with a PSAC-qualifying throw of 52.83 meters (173' 4") while Matthew Staffin (Sugarloaf, Pa./Hazleton Area) took second with a toss of 50.07 meters (164' 3"). Jackson Baldini (Mechanicsburg, PA/Mechanicsburg Area) finished fourth with a throw of 45.47 meters (149' 2").
 
Jack Donchez (Bethlehem/Liberty High School) won the hammer with a throw of 45.81 meters (150' 3") and Ryan Walker (/) took third with a throw of 38.04 meters (124' 10"). Kaleb Zimmerman (Lancaster, Pa./Garden Spot) finished fourth with a throw of 30.93 meters (101' 6").
 
Walker took second in the discus with a throw of 39.67 meters (130' 2") and Stephen Vaughan finished third at 38.09 meters (125'). Zimmerman finished fourth with a throw of 36.64 meters (120' 2").
 
Zimmerman finished second in the shot put with a throw of 13.83 meters (45' 4.5") and Walker finished third at 12.15 meters (39' 10.5").
 
Dillon Steffy (Elliotsburg, Pa./West Perry High School) and Tyler Lobos (/) finished second and third as they tied with a height of 4.00 meters (13' 1.5") and Aiden Corrigan (/) finished fifth clearing 3.25 meters (10' 8").
 
On the track, Justin Herrmann took second in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 15.80 and Brady Deivert (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area) took third with a time of 17.19.
 
Caden Dufrene (Watsontown, Pa./Warrior Run High School) finished third overall in the 1,500-meter run with a time of 4:13.72 and Salahudinn Abdul-Hamid (State College/State College Area) finished fifth with a time of 4:22.83. Brackton Parrish (Charlotte, N.C./William Amos Hough) took sixth overall with a time of 4:24.39 and Jordan Mann (Kunkletown, Pa./Palmerton) finished eighth at 4:26.00. Stephen Suwala (Brigantine, N.J./Cedar Creek) took 10^th overall with a time of 4:29.03.
 
Andrew Kane (/) finished eighth in the decathlon with 5,053 total points and Michael Stebila (/) finished ninth with 5,029 points.
 
Kane finished eighth in the 100-meter dash (11.73), fourth in the long jump (6.47 meters), 15^th in the shot put (7.89 meters), ninth in the high jump (1.74 meters), eighth in the 400-meter dash (54.36 • personal best), 15^th in the 110-meter hurdles (20.79), 15^th in the discus (22.21 meters), third in the pole vault (3.80 meters), 12^th in the javelin (32.23 meters), and fourth in the 1,500-meter run (4:53.21 • personal best).
 
Steblia finished 16th in the 100-meter dash (12.68), ninth in the long jump (6.02meters • personal best), third in the shot put (11.09 meters), fourth in the high jump (1.83 meters), 13th in the 400-meter dash (57.47), ninth in the 110-meter hurdles (17.37), fourth in the discus (31.12 meters • personal best), 15th in the pole vault (2.30 meters), third in the javelin (45.91 meters), and 12th in the 1,500-meter run (5:28.19).
 
At the Bucknell Outdoor Classic, Peyton Riley (Danville, Pa./Danville Area) posted a PSAC-qualifying time of 9:42.97 in the 3,000-meter steeplechase. Peter Tepper (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) took 103^rd in the 800-meters with a time of 1:58.39.
 
The Huskies have a quick turnaround as they head to the Shippensburg Mid Week Meet on Wednesday, April 16.
