SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Freshman
Daniel Ajuz (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) broke a 45-year-old school record in the long jump while the Bloomsburg men's track and field team tallied 13 top five finishes, ten personal-bests at the Shippensburg Mid-Week PR Bonanza on Wednesday afternoon.

In the field,
Daniel Ajuz (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth Whitemarsh) took second in the long jump with a. record-breaking mark of 7.21 meters. The freshman broke Robert McIntosh's 45-year-old school record by .03 meters. Ajuz now sits fourth on the PSAC performance list.
Trevor Johnson (Kintnersville, Pa./Palisades, Pa.) just missed out on a PSAC qualifying mark, falling short by.03 meters with a jump of 6.82.

In the triple jump, Ajuz took second with a jump of 13.06 meters while
Landon Kester () took fifth with a jump of 12.50 meters.

Kaleb Zimmerman (Lancaster, Pa./Garden Spot) set a personal best in the discus throw with a mark of 41.96 meters.
Dillon Steffy (Elliotsburg, Pa./West Perry High School) placed fifth in the pole vault, clearing a height of 3.90 meters. In the high jump,
Shaheem Hill (Williamsport, Pa./Williamsport) took fourth with a jump of 1.80 meters and
Paul Munoz (Hazleton, Pa./Hazleton Area) set a PR with an eighth-place jump of 1.70 meters.

On the track,
Christopher Brittingham (Royersford, Pa./Spring-Ford) took home three top-five finishes. The freshman set a PR in the 100-meters with a fifth-place time of 11.14 before taking fifth in the 400-meters with a time of 51.76. Brittingham joined Kester,
Jalik Hill (Lebanon, Pa./Lebanon) and
Peter Tepper (Cherry Hill, N.J./Cherry Hill East) in the 4x400-relay to run a second-place time of 3:30.02.

Patrick Moore (Blakeslee, Pa./Commonwealth Charter Academy),
Lucas Pearson (/) and
Lucas Antal (/) each recorded personal bests in the 100-meter.

J. Hill ran a personal best in the 400-meter with a time if 51.53 while
LJ Lee (/) ran a PR time of 54.06.

Caden Dufrene (Watsontown, Pa./Warrior Run High School) placed second in the 1,5000-meter, crossing the line in 4:19.30.

Colin Snyder (Dillsburg, Pa./Northern York) set a personal best in the 5,000-meter while placing seventh with a time of 17:42.38.

The Huskies placed two runners, Justin Herrmann and
Brady Deivert (Selinsgrove, Pa./Selinsgrove Area), in the top five of the 110-meter hurdles. Herrmann ran a third-place time of 15.42 while Deivert took fifth with a time of 16.36.

Deivert claimed another fifth-place finish in the 400-meter hurdles, running a 1:00.59.

The Huskies B-squad of Deivert, Bryce Pattillo,
Evan Mann (Medford, N.J./Shawnee) and
Jordan Mann (Kunkletown, Pa./Palmerton) took fourth in the 4x400-meter relay with a time of 3:39.33.

The Huskies are back in action on Saturday, April 19 as they compete in the Bucknell Team Challenge in Lewisburg.
