LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – After a breakout sophomore season, midfielder Marykate Sitko (Pennsburg, Pa./Upper Perkiomen) earned All-PSAC East First Team honors, as voted on by the league coaches and announced by the PSAC, Tuesday afternoon.
 
The All-PSAC East honor is the first of Sitko's career. The midfielder led the Huskies with 59 total points this season including a team-best 45 goals and was second on the team with 14 assists. Sitko had seven free position goals and picked up 32 ground balls, second most for Bloomsburg. She led the team with 74 draw controls and 21 caused turnovers, as well. Sitko ranked ninth in draw controls per game (4.67) in PSAC East contests.
 
Sitko had a career-best five goals against Jefferson and at Shepherd this season and scored at least two goals in 12 of her 17 games. She scored at least one goal in every game this season. Sitko had five-straight multi-goal games from March 8 – March 22. Of her 94 shots this season, 71 have been on target for a .755 shot on goal percentage. In the Huskies 15-13 win over Jefferson, Sitko posted a career-best seven points with five goals and two assists. Additionally, she had four games with at least two assists this season.
 
For her career, Sitko now has 61 goals and 19 assists for 80 points, 53 total ground balls and 79 draw control wins. She now has 36 caused turnovers in two seasons with the Huskies.
