INDIANAPOLIS, Pa. – The Bloomsburg baseball team has been picked fifth in the second edition of the NCAA Atlantic Regional Rankings.
 
This is the second of the three editions of the regional rankings and the first the ranks the eight teams.
 
Bloomsburg is one of the seven Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) teams listed in the regional rankings and one of five teams from the eastern division. West Chester sits atop the region with a 33-8 in-region record while East Stroudsburg and Millersville places third and fourth at 31-13 in the region. Shippensburg ranks seventh with a 27-17 in-region record.
 
Seton Hill is the top ranked team in the western division, placing second with a 33-7 record in the Atlantic region. IUP is eighth in the rankings and is 27-18 in the region. Frostburg State is the sole team from the Mountain East Conference (MEC), siting sixth with a 26-15 in-region record.
 
The Huskies hold a 21-18 record in the Atlantic region this season.
 
Bloomsburg returns to Danny Litwhiler Field on Thursday, April 30th as they host Mansfield for a 1 p.m. doubleheader.
