BLOOMSBURG, Pa. - The Bloomsburg University men's swimming team won its second consecutive dual meet on Friday night as it knocked off visiting Edinboro University, 119-74, at the Nelson Field House Pool. With the win, the Huskies evened their record at 2-2 on the season while the Fighting Scots dropped to 1-2 on the year.

Jordan Wyant (Mechanicsburg, Pa./Trinity), senior

Noah Cancro (Limerick, Pa./Spring-Ford), sophomore
Jace Fry (Palmyra, Pa./Lower Dauphin), and freshman
Ryan Keenan (Collegeville, Pa./Perkiomen Valley) - each posted one individual win on the night. Fry also teamed up with redshirt junior
Matt Rocchi (Philadelphia, Pa./Archbishop Ryan), junior
Collin Hummel (Lewisburg, Pa./Lewisburg), and freshman
Blake Nesbitt (Wind Gap, PA/Nazareth) for a meet-opening victory in the 200-yard medley relay.
The Huskies had 18 Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) qualifying swims on Friday night with Wyant, Cancro, Hummel, Schnars, Keenan, and freshman
Luke Scoboria (Birdsboro, PA/Exeter) leading the way with two apiece. Smith, Rocchi, Fry, redshirt junior
Tyler Reed (Hereford, Pa./Upper Perkiomen), sophomore
Nicholas Madey (Pittsburgh, Pa./Avonworth), and freshman
Blake Nesbitt (Wind Gap, PA/Nazareth) each qualified for the conference meet in one event.
Schnars earned his victories in the 50-yard freestyle (21.28) and in the 100-yard backstroke (52.63) with each serving as season-best marks. His time in the 100-yard backstroke is also the fastest in the conference this season while his 50-yard freestyle time is fifth in the league.
Wyant won the 100-yard freestyle by nearly a second as he touched the wall in 47.65 which is the fourth-best mark in the conference to date. Smith paced the field with a time of 4:58.07 - the fifth-best time in the PSAC this season while Cancro took the 200-yard freestyle event with a time of 1:49.37. Fry won the 100-yard butterfly by more than a second as he finished with a time of 51.30 - second-best in the league - while Keenan earned the Huskies' individual win in the 1000-yard freestyle for his first collegiate victory. His time of 10:20.63 was the best of the night by just under 15 seconds and was the seventh-best mark in the league this season.
Bloomsburg opened the evening in strong fashion with a victory in the 200-yard medley relay as Nesbitt, Rocchi, Fry, and Hummel teamed up for a time of 1:35.63 to edge Edinboro's foursome by just under five-tenths of a second. The Huskies' time is tops in the PSAC this year.
The Huskies will get right back to work on Saturday afternoon when they entertain the Golden Knights of Gannon University at the Nelson Field House Pool. The meet gets underway at 2:00 p.m.
