LEWISBURG, Pa. – The Bloomsburg University men's and women's track and field team had another impressive weekend at the 23
rd Annual Bison Open as the Huskies posted eight new Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference qualifying marks while senior
Tyler Bailey (Mifflinburg, Pa./Mifflinburg) broke his own indoor school record in the 800-meter run.

Bailey improved upon his PSAC mark in the 800-meter run as he took first in his heat and first overall with a time of 1:56.38. His time, converted for track size, is currently the third-best time in the PSAC. Senior Kathyrn Blair won the women's 800-meter run race as she qualified for the PSAC indoor championship meet with a time of 2:19.47. Her time, converted for track size, is the current top mark in the conference.

Megan Gambogi () hit a qualifying mark for the Huskies as well in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:23.40 as she took fourth overall.

Sophomore
Kelley Selheimer (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) and junior
Nicole Keeley (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy) posted PSAC marks in the 3,000-meter run as Selheimer took fourth overall with a time of 10:47.99 and is ranked 13
th in the conference while Keeley took fifth with a time of 10:48.80 for a new PSAC mark and is now 15
th in the conference.

In the men's 3,000-meter run
Kevin Konyar (Winchester, Va./James Wood) took second overall with a PSAC-mark of 8:50.45 and
Parker Jarratt (West Grove, Pa./Avon Grove) finished fourth with a PSAC-mark of 9:04.72.

In the 1-mile run, senior Christopher McCormick posted a PSAC-mark of 4:27.06 as he took second overall and is currently ranked seventh in the PSAC.

Ryan Duff (Plymouth Meeting, Pa./Plymouth-Whitemarsh) earned a spot in the PSAC championship meet as well as he took eighth overall in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 15:54.97, the 12th-best time in the conference this season.

The 4x400-meter relay team of
Sarah Castronova (Lancaster, Pa./Conestoga Valley),
Delaney Porter (Pen Argyl, Pa./Penn Argyl Area),
Phoebe Patterson (), and Blair won the event with a time of 4:08.02. The relay is currently ranked fifth in the PSAC. The distance medley relay team of Blair, Porter,
Riley Snyder (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy), and Selheimer took third overall with a time of 12:32.81, the current best time in the PSAC.

The 4x400-meter relay team on the men's side of
Brady Dowell (Williamsport, Pa./Loyalsock Township),
Andrew Basile (Easton, Pa./Easton Area),
Robert Wilson (Ambler, Pa./Wissahickon), and Bailey took third overall with a time of 3:27.49 and is currently ranked fifth in the PSAC. The DMR team of Jarratt, Bailey, McCormick, and Konyar finished fourth with a time of 10:28.40 and is ranked second in the PSAC.

Junior
Sydney Sheaffer (Port Royal, Pa./Juniata High School) earned a spot in the PSAC championship meet in the high jump as she cleared 1.60 meters (5' 3") and is currently ranked sixth in the PSAC.

The Huskies return to action next Saturday, February 5, as they compete at the Plex Shoot Out hosted by Alvernia University in Reading, Pa.
