DETROIT, MI –
Kelley Selheimer (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) led the women's cross country team to an 8
th place finish at the Warrior Challenge Saturday afternoon.
Selheimer finished 11
th overall in the individual standings with a time of 22:42.50 and helped the Huskies finish with a total of 199 points.
Nicole Keeley (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy) also had a solid race, finishing 33
rd overall with a mark of 23:31.50. Crossing the finish line next for the Huskies was
Amanda Kelly (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) with a time of 24:04.80.
Brianna Dumond (Tamaqua, Pa./Tamaqua Area) finished fourth on the team with a mark of 24:12.90, and
Sarah Sweet (Erie, Pa./Mercyhurst Prepatory) rounded out the top five with a mark of 24:18.00.
The race is the team's final competition until the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships, which will take place November 5 at Mansfield.
