LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Bloomsburg University women's cross country team had a strong showing at the Lock Haven Invitational Saturday. The Huskies finished 7
th out of 34 teams in the LHU Crimson race with 247 points. Seven Husky runners posted a college PR between the Crimson Race and the White Race.

In the LHU White open race, junior
Kayla Kinney (Allentown, Pa./Parkland) posted a collegiate-best time of 26:01.2 to take 43
rd, while freshman
Abby Rice (Boyertown, Pa./Boyertown Area) finished 96
th with a collegiate-best time of 28:48.1, dropping two and a half minutes off of her previous best time in a 6K race.

The Huskies posted 247 team points in the Crimson Race, and five of their top-seven runners recorded a collegiate PR.

Sophomore
Kelley Selheimer (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) led the pack as she took 17
th overall with a PR of 22:09.7. Senior
Nicole Keeley (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy) finished 18
th overall and right on the heels of Selheimer with a time of 22:09.9. Keeley was just two seconds off of her college PR.

Freshman
Amanda Kelly (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) led a strong group of underclassmen for the Huskies. Kelly took 38
th overall with a college-best time of 22:38.7. Freshmen
Sarah Sweet (Erie, Pa./Mercyhurst Prepatory) and
Alyssa Keeley (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy) tied for 102
nd overall with a time of 23:54.6, both college bests for the new Husky runners.

Junior
Brianna Dumond (Tamaqua, Pa./Tamaqua Area) finished 106
th with a time of 23:56.1, while freshman
Kyla Leathers (Wayne, N.J./Wayne Hills) rounded out the scoring runners for BU with a personal-best time of 24:10.2 to take 123
rd overall.

Bloomsburg was the third-highest Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference team, behind only Seton Hill (3
rd • 116 points) and Slippery Rock (4
th • 149 points).

The Huskies have next week off before heading to the Ed Winrow Memorial Invitational on Saturday, October 8, hosted by Mansfield University.
