SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Kelley Selheimer (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) finished second as the Bloomsburg women's cross country team placed second at the Galen Piper Cross Country Classic hosted by Shippensburg on Friday night.

The Huskies finished with a total of 56 points in its second-place finish.

Selheimer posted a personal-best in the 4K, running a second-place time of 15:14.8. The senior finished just 1.4 seconds behind the winner, Kelty Oaster from Elizabethtown.

Amanda Kelly (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) placed 12th with a time of 15:48.6 while
Alyssa Cunningham (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) posted a 16:02.5 to take 16th place.

A pair of sophomores rounded out the scorers for the maroon and gold.
Sydney Werner (Reading, Pa./Conrad Weiser) ran a 16:05.0 to finish 18th while
Meah Eshelman (Bedford, Pa./Bedford) finished 20th with a time of 16:06.2.

Jaime Diedel (Lansdale, Pa./North Penn) and
Josephine Reed (/) placed 21st and 22nd with times of 16:07.8 and 16:14.7, respectively.
Melina Turner (Wharton, N.J./Morris Hills) finished 28th with a time of 16:23.1.
Lauren Donahue (Red Hill, Pa./Upper Perkiomen) ran a 16:40.2 to earn 36th while
Ana Carlow (/) placed 38th with a time of 16:41.2.

Alyssa Keeley (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy) ran a 17.21.7 while
Abigail Vallier (Millersburg, Pa./Millersburg Area) finished in 18:54.5.

The Huskies return to action on Friday, September 13 as they compete in the DII/DIII Challenge hosted by Kutztown.
