EDINBORO, Pa. - Bloomsburg women's cross country freshman
Olivia Magagna (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter Strasburg) finished in second place at Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC) Championships, while the Huskies placed third with 103 points on Saturday.
Magagna finished the race with a time of 22:22.6, earning All-PSAC First Team honors. The freshman's second-place finish is the highest finish at the conference meet since Lauren Lehman won in 2014.
Cori McCormick (Ashland, Pa./North Schuylkill) placed 13th in the race with a time of 23.11.7 to land on the All-PSAC First Team as well.
Alyssa Cunningham (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) finished 19th with a time of 23.21.1 while
Amanda Kelly (West Chester, Pa./Henderson) placed 29th with a time of 23:43.9, claiming spots on the All-PSAC Second Team. It is Kelly's third all-conference finish while Cunningham picks up the second of her career.
Haley Conner (/) took 40th with a 24:00.5 time.
Melina Turner (Wharton, N.J./Morris Hills) was 10 places behind at 50th with a final time of 24:12.8.
Sydney Werner (Reading, Pa./Conrad Weiser) was close behind taking 54th at 24:19.6.
Alyssa Keeley (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy) took 68th at 24:39.7.
Maura Kelly (Warminster, Pa./William Tennent) finished with a time of 27:56.3, placing 142nd.
Lauren Donahue (Red Hill, Pa./Upper Perkiomen) placed 148th with a time of 28:30.8, while
Abigail Vallier (Millersburg, Pa./Millersburg Area) took 154th at 31:47.7 to finish the Huskies day in Edinboro.
The women's cross country team will travel to Lock Haven to compete in the NCAA Atlantic Regional Championships on November 8. They will run at 11:45 a.m.
