LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – Freshman standout
Olivia Magagna (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter Strasburg) once again led the Bloomsburg women's cross country team as she took fourth overall and helped the Huskies to a team fifth-place finish at the Lock Haven Invite, Saturday morning.
Maganga ran a collegiate-best time of 21:38.2 to finish fourth. She dropped 0:21.9 off of her previous best time in a 6K race as a member of the Huskies. Graduate student
Cori McCormick (Ashland, Pa./North Schuylkill) ran a 22:33.7 to take 24
th overall, her best time in a 6K race as a Husky after transferring from Penn State this fall.
Alyssa Cunningham (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) finished 38
th overall at 22:54.8 and
Josephine Reed (Phoenixville, Pa./Phoenixville Area) took 51
st with a time of 23:11.0.
Haley Conner (/) came in 57
th overall at 23:19.4 and
Melina Turner (Wharton, N.J./Morris Hills) was the seventh Husky across the finish line with a time of 23:55.7 to take 87
th overall.
Alyssa Keeley (Northumberland, Pa./Shikellamy) came in 106
th overall with a time of 24:21.4 and
Maura Kelly (Warminster, Pa./William Tennent) finished 163
rd at 27:00.2
Lauren Donahue (Red Hill, Pa./Upper Perkiomen) was the final Husky across the finish line as she took 170
th overall with a time of 27:49.9.
The Huskies finished fifth as a team with 140 team points.
Bloomsburg gets back to action next Friday as they run in the Paul Short XC Run hosted by Lehigh University.
