INDIANAPOLIS—Three school records and two All-America performances highlighted day three action for the Bloomsburg University men's and women's swim team at the 2016 NCAA Division II National Championships. As a team the men's team is in 18th place with 65 points. The women are 33
rd with 6.5 points.
MEN
After a rough individual start to his championship week
Jake Harner (Philadelphia/Father Judge) came back in a big way in the 100-breast breaking his own school and PSAC record by swimming 53.74 to finish sixth in the prelims of the event.

In the finals Harner took the record even lower finishing in 53.69 seconds finishing sixth overall to earn his first All-American honor.

The 800-free relay team of
Alex Otero (Allentown/Parkland),
Josh Grzech (Mountain Top/Crestwood),
Ryan Paisley (Hazleton/Hazleton Area) and
Kyle Dix (Schwenksville/Perkiomen Valley) finished 17th in a school record time of 6:45.25 lowering the school record by more than two seconds.

WOMEN
Waiting two days to get the in the water didn't bother the Huskies Nikki Young as the junior broke her own school record in the 100-breast in the morning prelims swimming a 1:02.32. The time was good for 10
th place overall.

In the evening finals Young posted a time that was just off her school record of the morning finishing in 1:02.50 to take 10
th and earn honorable mention All-American honors.

Action at the NCAA Championships will wrap up on Saturday with the prelims starting at 10:30 am.
