YORK, Pa. – After a strong start to the 2025 PSAC Swimming Championships, the Bloomsburg men's swimming team is sending two swimmers to tonight's 'A' finals and two to the 'B' finals.
Junior
Nick Zaffiro (Orefield, Pa./Parkland) earned a spot in the 200-yard IM A finals after a strong swim in the prelims. Zaffiro finished eighth with a time of 1:53.15 to secure his spot. Senior
Tanner Glatfelter (Dover, Pa./Dover) dropped 1.73 off he seed time in the prelims to secure 11
th overall and a spot in the 'B' finals. Glatfelter posted a career-best time of 1:54.49 after coming in with a seed time of 1:56.22.
Jack Drake (Phillipsburg, N.J./Phillipsburg Area) came into the PSAC Championships seeded sixth in the 50-yard freestyle and took third overall in the prelims to earn a spot in the 'A' finals. Drake dropped .21 off his seed time to post a time of 20.52 Monday morning.
Ian Hamilton (Uniontown, Pa./Laurel Highlands) will swim in the 'B' finals after finishing 10
th overall in the prelims with a time of 21.19, .05 faster than his seed time.
Michael Huegel (Springfield, Pa./Spriingfield) swam a career-best in the morning timed finals of the 1,000-yard freestyle to finish first overall in the first round of finals with a time of 9:47.17, 17.34 faster than his seeded time.
Brayden Kemezis (North Wales, Pa./North Penn) is currently seventh overall with his career-best time of 10:08.62, 2.31 faster than his seeded time.
Luke Willard (Orefield, Pa./Parkland) is 13
th at 10:29.17 and
Ethan Robertson (/) is 14
th with a time of 10:43.23. Final places will be determined by the last heat of the timed finals tonight.
The finals begin tonight at 6:00 p.m. with the final heat of the 1,000-yard freestyle timed trials.
