Bloomsburg Athletics

One of the leaders of the defense the last several years, McFarland is a great athlete with an intensity for the physical part of the game. Winner of Bloomsburg's John S. Devlin “Big Hit” award the past two years, he can play any linebacker position and has the potential to be one of the best in the region.

2010: Started in 11 games for the Huskies...Recorded three tackles with one resulting in a loss against Ashlan (9/4)...Recorded six tackles with two resulting in a loss against Clarion (9/11)...Made a total of nine tackles in the win over IUP (9/18)...Recorded three tackles and added one assisted sack and a tackle for a loss in win over Millersville (9/25)...Logged one sack for a loss of 8 yards and added two tackles in the win over East Stroudsburg (10/02)...Recorded three tackles to help defeat West Chester (10/23)...Logged seven tackles and had a fumble recovery in the win over C.W. Post (10/30)...Made two tackles with one resulting in a loss of four yards in the 61-35 victory over Kutztown (11/6/10)...Recorded five tackles with one resulting in a loss of five yards against Mercyhurst (11/13)...Made three tackles and forced one broken up pass in the 28-26 victory over California (11/20)...Logged six tackles in the game against Mercyhurst (11/26)...Was named a first team All-PSAC linebacker...Ended the season with a total of 50 tackles...2009: Posted a career-high 11 tackles against Shippensburg...Had three tackles for loss, including a seven-yard sack against East Stroudsburg.

2008: Made a season-high eight tackles in regular season matchup with West Chester...Made first career interception in opener with Ashland.
