Bloomsburg Athletics

Connelly was a four-year member of the men's basketball team. Connelly is Bloomsburg's' fourth all-time leading scorer with 1481 points (graduated in third place). He led the Huskies in scoring in both his sophomore and senior seasons and was named first team All-PSAC East both years. He was also named second team All-PSAC East as a junior. Connelly also holds Bloomsburg's career record for free throws attempted with 534.

As a junior in 1988-89, he led the Huskies to second place finishes in both the PSAC Tournament and the NCAA Regional Finals. Overall, while playing for the Huskies the men's basketball teams posted a mark of 78-35, which included a school-record 27 wins in 1988-89.
