Lori Shelly was a four year member of the softball team and also played one year of field hockey for the Huskies.

In softball, Shelly was a four-year starter hitting over .350 in three of her four seasons. For her career she helped the Huskies to a record of 168-27, three PSAC championships and a second and third place finish at the NCAA Division II championships. She was a two-time first team All-American by the National Softball Coaches Association, a two-time All-Region selection and was a three-time first team All- PSAC East selection.

Her two best seasons were in 1989 as a sophomore when she hit .396 with nine homers and 46 RBI and 1991, her senior year, when she hit .388 with eight homers and 48 RBI. For her career she hit .354 and ranks in the top 10 in four career categories. She is second all-time in doubles with 55 (number one at time of graduation), third in RBI with 163 (number one at time of graduation), fifth in home runs with 26 and ninth in hits with 214.

In her one season of field hockey Lori was the team's goalkeeper posting 4.5 shutouts, while making 38 saves and allowing just six goals and leading the Huskies to the NCAA Division III championship with a record of 24-1.

Since graduation, Shelly has focused her efforts on developing a successful career in the financial services industry and giving back to the community. She spent five years leading the Manheim Recreation Commission and was awarded the Pennsylvania Recreation & Parks Society Volunteerism Award in 2002. Shelly is now a senior vice president with Univest Bank & Trust Co, in Souderton Pa. and resides in the Lehigh Valley.
