Rob Dixon was a four-year member of the men's tennis team. In singles play he posted a career record of 104-35, ranking sixth on the school's all-time list and ranking 10 in winning percentage (.748). In doubles play he teamed with Marcus Nilsson to form the winningest doubles team in school history with a mark of 115-22. He was named the 1997 national "Player to Watch" after going 32-4 in singles and 32-6 in doubles play. He finished his career with 12 PSAC titles (four single/four doubles/four team) and was a four-time All-American in doubles play. In singles play he ended his season ranked nationally three times, while in doubles play with Nilsson the duo was ranked third and fourth, twice each. He also helped the team to an overall record of 63-23.
After graduation, he continued playing tennis on the Futures Circuit and in a German tennis league in Berlin before returning home to Canada.Â
