Rich Kozicki

Rich Kozicki was a standout swimmer for Bloomsburg who redefined distance swimming during his career. Kozicki established 20 team records and 23 pool records and was part of the growth of the men's swim program under Eli McLaughlin.

During his career Kozicki was a two time individual PSAC champion and a two-time PSAC champion as a member of a relay team. He was also a PSAC runner-up four times and set three conference records. Kozicki qualified for the national championships (both NAIA and NCAA D-II) three times and was an All-American as part of the 400-free relay team.

In his first year with the Huskies he set 12 team and 11 pool records and won the PSAC title in the 500-free and was runner-up in the 200 and 1000-free events. He was also part of the PSAC champion 400-free relay team that set a conference record. He then went on to the NAIA national championships.

As a sophomore he set eight team records and 12 pool records as he repeated as the 500-free champion setting a conference record in the process. He was also part of the 400-free relay team that repeated as conference champion, setting yet another conference record and finished as the PSAC runner-up in the 1000-free for the second straight year and qualified for the first ever NCAA Division II championships.

In his junior year Kozicki was part of the PSAC runner-up 400-free relay team, which then went on to earn All-American honors at the NCAA Division II national championships.
