Lockcuff earned three letters in both football and baseball for the Huskies. He went on to an outstanding coaching career in high school wrestling, posting a record of 270-32-4 over 27 years. Lockcuff was a three-time "AAA" Pennsylvania Coach of the Year (1984, 1985, 1991) and a 13-time District IV "AAA" Coach of the Year. His teams were Susquehanna Valley Conference champions numerous times and Northeast Regional "AAA" team champions several times.
