Morgan was a standout on the wrestling mat for the Huskies finishing his career tied for the most victories in school history with 127. His overall record of 127-26-6 gives him the fourth best winning percentage (.817) in school history. Morgan was a two-time All-American for the Huskies finishing third in 1987-88 and sixth in 1988-89 at 150 pounds. During each of his four years Morgan increased his win total, going from 28 wins as a freshman to 31 as a sophomore, 33 as a junior and 35 as a senior. A four-time NCAA qualifier, Morgan was also a two-time Eastern Wrestling League and PSAC champion. He helped the Huskies to the 1988-89 PSAC championship.
