Bloomsburg Athletics

Eachus was one of the top distance runners for both the cross country and track and field teams. As a cross country runner, he won all but two of his dual meets in four years and won the PSAC title in both 1977 and 1978. He also finished second in the 1978 NCAA championships and was a three-time All-American. In track and field, Eachus set eight school records, including both the indoor and outdoor two- and three-mile races and the outdoor 5,000 and 10,000 meter races.
