Morucci graduated as the Huskies' all-time leading rusher and the Pennsylvania Conference's third-highest rusher with 3,536 yards. At one time he held 16 university single-game season and career standards. Morucci scored 162 points on 27 touchdowns on 785 carries, then a conference record. He was a four-time Pennsylvania Conference all-star selection, named a Kodak Coaches' All-American in 1979 and Eastern College Athletic Conferences "Player of the Year" in 1979. Morucci was drafted by the New Orleans Saints in the seventh round, but had his career cut short by an injury.
