Hall of Fame
A three-sport standout, Boughner was named all-conference in football in 1954 and the following season, helped the Huskies to a conference title. As a catcher on the 1955 baseball team, he was a first team all-conference player and helped lead the team to a conference title. After graduation, he became a high school coach for all three sports. His football coaching record was 85-37-5, including one undefeated season and three conference titles.
