Upon graduation, Petersohn held seven individual and four relay records. Her lone remaining record is the 200-yard individual medley time of 2:08.56, which she set in winning a national championship her senior year. Petersohn also owns four national titles as a member of relay units as a freshman and was an NCAA finalist in three individual events.

She earned All-American honors seven times. In her career, Petersohn won three PSAC titles.
