    Men's Basketball, Coach
Foster was the head basketball coach at Bloomsburg from 1960 to 1963. His teams posted an impressive mark of 45-11 during his stay with the Huskies. His best season was the 1962-63 season during which he guided Bloomsburg to a record of 17-4. After leaving Bloomsburg, Foster took over struggling programs at Rutgers and Utah and led both teams to respectability. His Utah team made it to the N.I.T. in 1974 before he moved on to Duke University. In his third year, he led the Blue Devils to the NCAA title game, finishing with a record of 27-7. Foster became the first coach in A.C.C. history to take a team from last place to the league championship in one season.
