Roxann (Emerick) Betz was a four-year starter and two-year co-captain on the women's lacrosse team. She helped the Huskies to a four-year record of 37-20, including the 2000 PSAC championship. Emerick Betz was a four-time All-American earning first team honors three times and second team honors once. She was also a first team All-PSAC three times and a second team All-PSAC once.
In 2000 she was selected as the women's lacrosse nominee for the Honda Division II Women's Collegiate Athlete of the Year. Also in 2000 she was named the Division II Midfielder of the Year.  Her best scoring season came in 2001 when she totaled 51 goals and seven assists for 58 points. She was named team MVP in 2001 and was a four-year scholar athlete.  Over her career she finished with 144 goals, 30 assists and 174 points. She ranks eighth all-time at Bloomsburg in goals and 10th in career points (graduated as third best in both categories). She currently is Bloomsburg University's only four-year All-American in women's lacrosse.
Following graduation she was elected to Division II/III USA Team to compete in Australia in 2001 and has also started a local youth lacrosse program in her town. (Emerick) Betz also serves as a volunteer assistant coach for Emmaus High School girls lacrosse.  She attended the University of Illinois for a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine and is an associate veterinarian in Allentown, PA.
She is married to Bloomsburg graduate Shawn Betz, a standout baseball player for the Huskies, and they have two children, Jaden and Morgan.
