Landis was a standout for the women's tennis at Bloomsburg and finished her career with a school-record (since suprassed) 63 wins against just 15 losses. She also teamed with Kathy Masch to win a school-record 31 matches (since broken) in doubles. Landis won three PSAC number one singles titles in her career and helped the Huskies to the 1985 PSAC championship. She played number one singles and number one doubles all four years and was ranked as high as 33rd in the country. Landis was also the first Bloomsburg women's tennis player to qualify for the NCAA championships.
