Sheridan was a three-time All-American swimmer from 1981-83 for the Huskies and was a member of two national championship relay teams in 1982. She won the school's first-ever PSAC title in the 200-yard breaststroke and established or helped establish eight individual and relay records. During her association with the team, the Huskies combined for a 34-6 record. The team was PSAC runners-up all four years she was a member and the AIAW Division III national runners-up in 1981-82.
