Neil Stoddart was a four-year member of the men's soccer team leading the team to record of 44-26-4. He led the team in scoring all four years, scoring double figure goals each year, and was named first team All-PSAC four times. As one of the most dominant offensive men's soccer player in school history he finished his career tied with Jim Mailey for most points with 158, and is second in goals with 62, one behind Mailey. Stoddart is also the school's career leader in assists with 34. As a freshman Stoddart scored 14 goals and had 12 assists, then scored 15 goals and had nine assists as a sophomore. In his junior year he scored 14 times and had six assists, then capped his career with 19 goals and seven assists as a senior.  

In 1995 he was named second team Division II National Soccer Coaches Association of American (NSCAA) All-Mid Atlantic Region. In 1996 he was voted the PSAC Men's Soccer Athlete of the Year, first team Division II NSCAA All-Mid Atlantic, first team Sports Information Directors NCAA Division II All-Region, and scored in seven consecutive games. In 1997 he earned first team Division II NSCAA All-Mid Atlantic and had four multiple goal games. In 1998 he had seven multiple goal games and was named First Team All-PSAC.
